Thread: Best PvE Armor Possible
To answer your ? and the questions of the hunreds of other people that have asked the same thing
Armor Nerf, Possible Removal of the Slicing of armor, Most people can only afford one suit and dont get the slices they want so its nice to have several resists as high as you can craft them, ETC.....Who really cares?
Not to sound boastful, but I have had lots of criticising of this armor and the last one I did with the 3 specials, as far as I know I was the 1st to post these let alone make them, yeah you can get 4 or more special with rancor hide or even more with krayt scales but not one that you canmass produce and appeals to those that dont want their armor sliced, and Im in the reasoning that alot of people are jealous, I dont consider myself the best AS here, cause its all about resources and knowing the system, but I do consider my self high up in the ranks.
Alot of people have said to me its not that great cause it still has a vulnerability, my response to that is, Its not PVP armor, if you want PVP armor find someone to make you some stun, this was never meant to be PVP armor, it was meant to cover those protections needed in the new dungeons.
Ok enough anting from me Im done with this issue, I challenge those who think its not great to come up with something better, unsliced and mass producable
/agree 110%

Perhaps the thread should have been titled "Best mass-produceable, non-enhanced, non-sliced PvE armor possible"
"My run of 80% electric 70% base with 20% effect slices will still be lower encumbrance than a full suit of that stuff sliced at 30% encumbrance not to mention you'd have 90% protect on blast, energy, and kinetic soooooo nice stuff but still not the best "
If it's 70% base, you won't hit 90% with a 20% eff. slice.
I don't like the idea.
I can just make a suit with blast special protect & hit 72% base which hits 90% semi-easily.

I still dont think people are grasping what Im saying, ARMOR NERF, yeah I my self prefer a lighter armor to this heavy stuff, but what happens if they remove armor slicing? I can guarantee this stuff will be the hottest stuff around. Or what if they cap the base and only specials can go to 80%? So on and so forth, Im just saying I make this stuff in prepartaion for the RETRO-active armor nerf(Yes all pre-existing armor will be affected) I hope people start understanding what I mean, and what Im trying to produce here, I guess my next project is to produce ultra light comp with 70% base, see how people like that instead. Oh well.
You can plan for the combat balance since none of us know how it will affect armor. For exampe, lets say they eliminated buffs to secondary stats. I doubt anyone would be able to wear the above suit. Who knows? None of us do for sure.
BTW, nice work.

And you know exactly what is going to happen in the armor revamp (not nerf)? Didn't think so. When the time comes, we'll figure out what works best then when we actually see the changes. Right now all the revamp changes are based on speculation.
