Thread: Assault Armor Cores with 6-7K Energy? Possible to build?

Thx for the quick info, that really sounds great (hopefully they will fix the bug for the health enhancers). Any other opinions?

Assault armor quad primus and a PSG = teh pwnzor for PVP lol


7600ish kinetic
5600ish energy
5500 base


and a PSG the only thing to really hurt you is a Jedi, but you do have a decent amount still.


your covered against the popular kinetic weapons like the FWG5 and the scatter that a PSG wont stop, but when they relize your wearing assault they normally use an energy weapon then they got 2300+ from a PSG and 5600 from the armor, they do less damage with a laser rifle or what ever then anything else hehe.


A great fakeout and by the time they realize whats up the battle is over one way or the other

Hi.


I am wondering if a good AS could make Assault Armor Cores with 6k on everything or even 7K/E 6K/SP 5K/K. If it's possible to build those, can those be made in factory crates (I would need those out of factory crates for a few Mandalorian Armor parts).

Yes, totally possible


My AS toon is a MBH and therefore only cirt for Assault.


I made a quad energy suit to fend off all them Stormtroopers I love to kill lol
(stats from memory, but I know its over 6100 and 87 sounds familure)
5992 Kinetic
6187 energy
6k base Rebel assault armor with +45 health to each piece (made before the bug thank god) I only have 1960 health with out the suit, 2275 with it (CL 54)


Strap on my 2442 energy70.9 regen imp prototype PSG and im a uber Stromtrooper killin guy

6200 is the theoretical cap for energy resist's with assault core's

sigh, yeah, so BH are screwed hunting jedi...


I got MCM but the mitigation is only 40% at master for the battle armor, will it slow me down too much if I wear one?


(I have PSG too.. but heh, I'd like to have a good comp armor, with over 6k resist)

BH's are not screwed in hunting Jedi... that;s why you have 1298 SP's left over after you master BH. If you need high energy res, pick up smuggler, pistoleer, or rifleman... Not like your restricted to 1 class.

As a CM you get battle armor which has a 7200 cap. IMO Battle is best, but I've been the kind of person that prefers a well rounded defence over a 1 sided one.


I think having good kinetic AND energy protection is what should be looked at in a "Uber suit" . When you get right down to it a capped suit of Primus Battle armor Provides about 50% protection for both kinetic and energy. Now if you wear a suit of energy layered Recon you gain 6% to your energy resist but you loose over 20% kinetic resists.


Now if your ONLY fighting Jedi, then yeah it would be nice to have energy layered recon. But if your looking for a "Dream Suit" I'd do a nice suit of Primus Battle

plus, heh, I can afford 2 suits, one for PVE (assault with more Kin than energy) and another assault with energy focus.


I'm stuck with assault since I got my full 60% mitigation for it with BH. So, 2 suits for me

You might do well to read the sticky about "armor info for customers". As a master combat medic you will fully mitigate capped battle armor. The hinderances on a capped suit, 6000 for all are 40% for all three.


Each class of suit has a different pattern of hinderances.
