I had a master AS repair my armor (it was only about 10% down) and it lost 10k condition with the repair (he used a 99% repair kit which I made). I thought this was kinda odd so I took some old armor I had laying around and each piece he repaired lost appx 10k condition, is this normal? Also, is it true that if you let an item go too low that it can be destroyed with the repair? Thank you in advance for information on this.

yea and yea
BUT it could be no and maybe.
i have repaired items which have lost around 1% cond and some very low cond items have been repaired to full conditoin or very close to.
It all depends on force skills and tapes (as far as i know)

I think repair is working fine, I was able to reapir a helmet 2-3 times before repairing broke it. Made it last alot longer than it would have.

Nope. It's all in the tool and any tapes or FS abilities. Being a Master AS means nothing interms of repair.
