If you have good resources you should get 2 base 4 kinetic after assembly, max out base to 96% (or however high you can get with your resources)on all 3 layers, you'll hit about 70 base and 80 kinetic, dont waste any points on special.

It's probably also worth remembering that composite experimentation is a little different. The first line you should push on the final combine when heading for high special/base is the overall quality (middle row) and then go for HAM costs (which oddlyenough will boost the special resist when you do it *shrug*).

Hey i was wondering if anyone could tell me how to make 80% kinetic...60% base...
I can get my armor up to 80% kinetic and 49% base...maybe i should cut down on the special resists when making the layers and add more base... please help me out

If your triple layering, why are you trying to hit 60% base and 80% Kinetic? I use 4/4 layers and end up with 70% base and 80% kinetic. Try it on a pair of gloves and see what you get. The 80% Kinetic doesn't kick in until I drop my last point into durability so don't get discouraged.

80% is the hardcap for unsliced armor, and 90% is the cap for sliced armor.
