They said it took a lot of resources wasted and others speculated about using critical failures to increase above the norm. I bet they got the stun as high as they could through experimentation, then gave up the crafting techniques branch of armorsmith to increase chance of next roll being failure. Then they had to retrain that branch while still crafting. Enough times of this and you might get a favorable critical failure.

I have seen that. Just yesterday was playing around with some padded segments, seeing what I the max resist were could get with my ingredients, and when I was crafting some padded gloves, I had a critcal failure on quality, but the special resist from my kinetic layers jumped from 30 something to 40%. When I experimented on the third row, it dropped down to 34%. Seems like a glitch in the crafting process. If that kind of crit. failure happened as the last experiment, it could give an unexpected boost.

These theories are getting pretty extravagent. I dont think people are reading my post- I explained EXACTLY how we did it.

It's a critical success on assembly if I read that thread correctly.

Just as a side note, I've attempted the critical failure on non resistive branch on kinetic layers and was unable to push past the cap.

Sorry, I had not read your post yet and I am not even a craftor so I know nothing about it. I just like my theory because its so crazy and it is something I would do.
