Do they require all the components? I have yet to make a piece of RIS since the CU hit.

I just make Padded gloves using the same colors and name it R.I.S.if it's for personal/guild use... /wink

no. They dont. Yout just need the talusian fiberplast and the like. They do NOT require the RIS segment

Incorrect, they DOREQUIRE the RIS segment.
They just don't need the cores and you can't add any health bonuses.

Ah wait yeah. Sorry. Could have sworn it didnt at one point. The requirement for the RIS segmetn is retarded. The gloves and boots dont -do- anything. Cant even have sockets. What a waste.

That they do. It wouldnt be quite so bad if people didnt want 1+M a scale though. And then they turn around and complain about our prices. >.<

Cheapest Scales I have found on Chimaera is 399K, which really doesnt help matters much as by the time you buy the other 2 components (around 10K to 100K each) you end up with a suit (inc. gloves and boots) costing a good 4.5m! So the resale would have to be at least 6m to make it worth your while!
Considering to buy faction pointsand make 10 faction armor suits costs almost half that for just 1 RIS suite and sell quicker as so much cheaper, is there really any point in making and selling RIS unless a specially requested custom order?!
Im going on a hunt tonite with my Jedi Knight friend and hopefully we can kill some Giant Kimo's ourselves and get the most expensive part and sell for considerably cheaper...depending of course how many scales we can actually get and that we dont get slaughtered!

I believe RIS is almost always special order for most.
Many prices in-game don't make sense. LIke the NS Biceps for example.
RIS is currently the third rarest armor in the game, Mando being first and BH being second.
Before I became an AS, it was my dream to one day be rich enough toafford a set ofRIS.
It'sone of those end-of-the-game-last-boss type ofitem for the average player.
Oh, and your toon Steveo's template should be enough to solo a GDK if you're both Master Rifle and Pistol.
