I'm having problems with my crafting macro selecting the correct schematic. It seems that once I get past number 050 I keep getting the same schematics everytime, or if I'm lucky and the one I want is lower than 50, itchanges when I log off.

I've also tried counting the schematics in my datapad, but the numbers never match (mostly due to 50+ problem). Is there an easy way to determine schematic number?

Your on the right track... but your missing a key point.

While using the crafting macro to select your schmed. you need to start counting from the upper left corner and work your way from left to right.

**Now here is the tricky part

1. make sure your counting schmeds from your data pad under the tab for draft schmed's

2. start with # 00

3. if your by a crafting station, then you can count all the schmed's till ya get to your one. BUT If your not by a crafting station, then DO NOT count the schmed's for items with a complexity of 21 or higher. This is probally your issue

4. remember everytime you lvl a box, you may learn new schmed's that will throw off your count, so make sure to check

Ahh, it might have something to do with the crafting station. Thanks a lot.

up in the sticky'd FAQ i found a macro fro crafting to gring through the crafting past of smuggler, all it does is boot up the crafting station to the right schem and then waits the 7 seconds then it just closes the station, nothing pops out. i dont know anything about macros but maybe someone can point me in another direction.

Write the following macro and stick it in F4.

/ui action toolbarSlot00;
/selectdraftSchematic 9; (May need to adjust this number until you find the correct schem for Shadowpaw. It was 9 for me.)
/pause 7;
/nextCraftingStage;
/nextCraftingStage;
/createPrototype practice no item;
/createPrototype practice no item;
/pause 2;

/ui action toolbarSlot01;
/selectdraftSchematic 9;
/pause 7;
/nextCraftingStage;
/nextCraftingStage;
/createPrototype practice no item;
/createPrototype practice no item;
/pause 2;

/ui action toolbarSlot02;
/selectdraftSchematic 9;
/pause 7;
/nextCraftingStage;
/nextCraftingStage;
/createPrototype practice no item;
/createPrototype practice no item;
/pause 2;

/ui action toolbarSlot03;

The 7 seconds is for you to double click the resources into the tool...

It is not...I repeat NOT...an AFK macro...there is a little work involved.

Oh...and nothing will be produced by the macro...it runs everything in practice mode.

Heh. I did it all by hand. I made FANs and knives and well...knives to slice, sliced them, and thus got slicing XP and Crafting XP all in one activity.

You got Spice XP for crafting knives?

That's a neat trick...

When I did it I did it by hand while auto-running from mission to mission...no vehicles or mounts in those days.

I love it though...smugglers really ARE crafters and not smugglers. We even have use for our own crafting macro...bleh.

Hey all, quick question. I'm using the standard crafting macro, and on my third crafting tool stage.....it skips the whole thing and says in my spatial /nextCraftingStage;.....anyone have any ideas why this is not working now....it was working fine.

Thanks

Hey all,

I'm trying to set up a crafting XP macro that I found on these forums, but I'm having trouble with the "/sel xxx;" portion of the script. The way this is explained in the guide, the XXX refers to the number of the schematic in your datapad. The guide then goes on to say that in order to determine this number, simply count the schematics fromleft to right (starting at the top) until you arrive at the schematic you are trying to reference in the macro.

Here's my problem:

Every time I open my datapad, the schematics seem to be randomly shuffled. Am I supposed to sort the schematics by name or type before counting?

Any help would be most appreciated!
