Thread: Help needed with amount of resources to gather

Well I'm not even a novice armorsmith yet but I'm working on gathering resources as I can depending on the stats, right now on Chimaera we have a pretty good lokian leather hide in shift so I've put the grind on hold to gather that. My main question is about how much of the different resources should I try to gather when I do actually mine/hunt/buy them? All I'm planning on making are psgs and wookiee armor if that helps any. I would definitely rather have too much than not enough so I'm wondering what my target goal should be to reach for stocking up ahead of time. Also if it matters any on this particular hide for instance here's the stats on it...

Get all of that hide as ya can!
if ya can get a million untis then get a million units
I make all types of armor...so for inorganics if the stats are great I stock about a million units of each where possible...
once I get those up I can concentrate on other resources
But that hide is wayyy to uber not to get everything you can on it

Thank you very much, I'm not even high enough in combat level to hunt these creatures but I've got a friend getting what he can, doubt he'll get 1 mil units but I can hope hehe.

each full run of cores will burn about 45k hide, now that will get you about 90 full suits of armor with 9 cores left over, (each full suit uses 11 cores)

Ah thank you for that information too, I better tell my friend to get going, I think he only has about 14k lol.

Yeah, Lokian leathery seems to be pretty easy to get, Just spam that your buying, alot of grinders hunt out on Lok, and Gurk's drop this, their LvL 80, easy kills, and spawn alot per lair. Each Gurk will drop about 400 units of hide at about CL52. 3 or 4 good grinders will get you a ton in a few days. I have almost 2 million or so units of a good resent spawn that I paid 3-5 cpu for, just off people grinding various skills.
If you do spam, make sure you point out that it's basicly free money, if you have novice scout amd make a macor
/loot all
/harvest hide
/pause 1
/harvest bone
/pause 1
/harvest meat
and stick it in the f12 key slot, harvesting is a breez (I add the bone and meat lines for mobs that don't drop hide, and placed it in my order of preference)`
