So I have acquired some Kimoglia scales. However, since I am still waiting to get my hands on comps for the segment I cant verify if the scales are good.
Can someone tell me if the scales specifically have to be Giant Dune Kimoglia scales, or does the 'Giant Dune' piece not matter? I expect they do, but hey, you never know.

It must say "Giant Dune Kimogila" scale, there will be only 1 dropped at a time, it has no stats, and it looks like a big hide container.

Thank you for the info. I suspected as much and didnt pay anything for these scales.

Sorry if this the millionth time you've had this question posted.
Is it kimogila scales that are needed or is it specifically giant dune kimo scales? I have some kimogila scales I looted off a GDK, are these what is needed?

The correct part is very obvious. It's in a large hide container, labeled Giant Dune Kimogila Scales, and has not stats whatsoever.

I just died with a stack of gurk hide, i thought i read somewhere that the components will not work after you die with them.

If I understand it correctly it only applys to the crafted segments, but I might be wrong.

Only the top piece of the stack is unuseable. The rest of the stack is useable. It's very annoying because you end up one short when you think you have enough.
