Thread: Question on loot for crafting armor

Is there any loot for crafting armor out there and if so what does each piece of loot do for armor? Anyone who can add there 2 cents would be greatly appreiciated.

You can loot crappy cores that you use in place of crafted ones. Check out this post to learn about armor enhancer loot.

You might find this post quite useful. A list is in the 3rd section of Thula's Guide to Armor Loot and Enhancers.

You can loot cores that will give you good stats, but it's not easy. Takes dozens of kills for one core usually, and you end up discarding about 8 or 9 out of 10 of those you do get.


The ones I know of are Fambaa, Voritors for Battle cores and Kliknik and Sharnaff for assault. Quality seems to be based on creaturelevel, a wild sharnaff will usually get you a basic assault, wild voritors get standard. Perhaps level 80 mission ones would drop advanced, I haven't tested that out yet.
