Does a crafting droid work as well as a good crafting station (+42ish I think)?
If the droid has a clothing module, does that cover armor as well?
Thanks.

It sure seems to for me. And yes, a clothing station would mean it can make armor.
There was a heck of a discussion going on about it in the DE forum. I'm not sure they every resolved it.
The gist of the argument seemed to be that crafting tools go to +15 and stations to +45. Before the entertainer buffs for resources, you couldn't get a perfect crafting station, but you could get a perfect tool. This made it so you couldn't get THE perfect setup of +15 tool/+45 station.
Now one guy was arguing (I think it was Straker from my own server) that the a droid crafting station has no rating and essetially doesn't exist when the game looks at the tools you are using. So by using a droid, only your crafting tool quality (which can be a perfect +15.00) is counted. If you have a perfect tool, you have a perfect setup because the game can only look at your crafting tool and not the station in the droid. This would mean a crafting station in a droid is the better choice.
The other guy said it wasn't so but really had no alternate theory, it seemed to me.
Anyway, I've never had any problem using my droid as a crafting station. BigfootKC/Poti is a DE, and I'll bet he'll be along eventually to weigh in on this issue. We'll see what he says.

That's really intersting Pyke and makes me feel better that when I can't afford a critical failure I always use my droid! As I grew up in an athletic setting, I just attributed it to superstition, but it's nice to know there's something behind this one.
Now if I can just bring my self to eat banannas....![]()

I knew that didn't look right! I've been avoiding them for over ten years now!
