Thread: How much do you pay for gurk hides/gdk scales on your server?

As the above question states, how much u paying folks?



Ive just started paying 2mil per stack on shadowfire, just wondering what the deal is elsewhere

I pay nothing, I try and loot my own.


But prices seem to be rising fast as very few natural lairs in the wild are around, so just a few spots are camped....a few weeks back GDK scales were going for 250k each...now AS's are jumping in offering 600k or so pushing prices up, Gurk hides are about 100k each now I think too.


Even at these prices its still going to be profitable though...I just wish they would fix natural spawns...the amount of times ive gone around with my ranger toon and not spotted ANYTHING on the Volcano or in the southern part of Lok is just ridiculous now.

The gdk scales are going for 500k each and the gurks a little less on bria. At one point the gurks were as low as 250k each but they are steadily rising it seems.

i dont get it....

3 nights ago a guildie and i went to lok and looted 7 (48) stacks of gurk hides... and 4 stacks of gdk scales (32).. In no more than 2hrs...

Think i'll stick with that for the time being..

btw, looted about 5 kimo scales as well, 1 +9 stack and i believe 3 +10s

Is this just extreme luck or what?

I think the words 'jammy ba5tard' sum it up nicely.


Ive had good spells when looting them...did you hit the kimo town spawn or look for them in the wilds? Ive got 10 GDK's before getting a stack before..and sometimes you get some from every other one you kill, but I think that was beginners luck for me.

LOL

acually we just solo'd the gurk "nests"... and when we saw gdks we teamed up on them... probably killed 15-20 gdks and numerous nests...

Were the GDK's out in the wilds then?


Ive spotted a spawn of 3-4 GDK once which we killed but had no loot whatsoever...but figured they are pretty rare still so not bothered looking for more. Might explore more if they are spawning a bit more.

yup just in the wild, and spawns of 3-4...

Main thing we did was kill all the gurk nests.... and when we saw wild gdk spawns.. we alerted one another and teamed on them....

On Scylla, the GCW has taken over Lok. Hundreds of PvE and PvP bases have been planted which results in absolutely no wild spawns in the southern hemi-"square". So basically.. Kimogila town is camped. As are the Gurk King static spawns. Prices ought to be very high I would think. But like others have posted, I collect all my own components. That or trade my stockpile of Gurk King Hidesfor GDK scales, which some armorsmiths are resorting to doing.
