Would you like to see the Reverse Engineering mechanics and Tiers come to armor? Why? Why not? How would it affect Armorsmiths?

Reverse Engineering:
I'm not really for this, though I'm open to other views on it. I base this largely on the fact that I think it would remove some of the uniqueness of having NS/etc. enhanced armour, not to mention it would make for a less interesting time working around the limitations imposed by the sizes of the drops available.
Tiered Armour:
If I'm remembering how the tiers work correctly (ie. a new type at each level of boxes in a combat prof) then I'm certainly in favour of this. As it would mean that crafting things like Mabari and such would become more common - although this in NO way mitigates the need for a re-vamp of the actual stats of these armour types to make them desireable over wearing nothing and getting doc buffs to absorb the damage. With the appropriate additional work, this would actually produce a fairly nice system, whereby a low-level elite combat prof uses the gear produced by a similar-level elite crafting prof.
How would this affect AS?
Done properly this could be quite a nice change, and provide some real incentive to actually craft your way to mastery as opposed to simply grind to the top and make comp all day. As well, it could provide a real reason to craft different types of armour and actually see them used. However, a sanity check is needed to avoid the inevitable situation where the elite combat profs grind all the way to master in as little time as possible so that they can get the cert for composite ASAP. In that circumstance we're still back where we are now, with composite (and ubese for those guys while they're grinding) being the norm - rather than a part of the whole.
