Thread: RIS ARMOR, PLZ HELP.....

Don't forget you'll need to have Geonosian Power cubes for this, with as many in large identical sets as possible due to the limited-use nature of the interwoven schematicok with all ^^^this stuff i know what to do, and that i need more Bones and GDK Scales. but its with the other components that i have been getting conflicting reports.ok here are the 'extra' stuff that i have:5 NS Armor Shards {Exceptional} H: -20 A: -70 M: -644 NS Armor Shards H: -47 A: -32 M: -265 NS Armor Layers 9% BAse Effect -7 A
Ok, for the interwoven option I'd be reluctant to even consider using those enhancers due to the limited-uses on the schem. However, for regular RIS my advice would be to collect more - with your aim being 5% base or better layers, any kind of Janta hide (the bigger the base resist the better), and yellow-drop NS shards (ie. above average). This will then allow your smith to use one or more layers, and one enhancer in the segment (note: for normal RIS these won't need to be identical as only one seg is needed for each piece of armour) which will yield some very very nice results. Of course, if you can find 10+ series of any of those (and a 10+ group of geo cubes) then go straight to Interwoven and collect your shiney new suit therenow i also have the possible opportunity to get some 28% base effect Acklay Hides, but dont KNow whether those can be used in RIS.
Acklay hide replaces padded armour segments, and so can't be used in RIS I'm afraid...
Hope this helps some

ok here is a list of what we have so far:
14 Gurk Hides
5 Woolamander Harrower Bones
3 GDK Scales
The INterwoven Schem
all the resources needed

ok with all ^^^this stuff i know what to do, and that i need more Bones and GDK Scales. but its with the other components that i have been getting conflicting reports.
ok here are the 'extra' stuff that i have:
5 NS Armor Shards {Exceptional} H: -20 A: -70 M: -64
4 NS Armor Shards H: -47 A: -32 M: -26
5 NS Armor Layers 9% BAse Effect -7 A

ok what if i got a second schematic to make the rest of the pieces? cuz all those enhancers are above average and i just got some 5% yellow cubes.
now i also have the possible opportunity to get some 28% base effect Acklay Hides, but dont KNow whether those can be used in RIS.

Didnt think so

That would work - largely in the form of a replacement. However, I'd still advise getting more of the loot drops to maximise your bang-for-buck on the suit, since the maximum craftable base for a layer is generally 4% anything better than that will boost the results nicely and allow you to have multiple different layers (and the one enhancer in a seperate slot) for each segment seriest gained from the cubes![]()
And i Just wanna let everyone who is posting know, u guys are all helpin me out very very much, it has only been my obsession for like 3 weeks to get RIS but my AS friend, Cogg, has been trying for a year. so thx very much for ur help and guidence and excuse my seemingly noober questions but we want this to be as good as we can get it

if you want super low ham ris, get alot more ns layers 8% or higher and use your shards and add either a 4% or higher yellow cube.
i have 9% NS layers, 5% yellow cubes.
use your -47 -32 -26 shards for the chest, and armor pieces?. use your exceptional shards for the rest. you will get 0 ham or close to 0 ham arms, boots and gloves. very low ham for the rest.
ok so use my non exceptional on the chest and R/L Bracer, and R/L Bicep, and my exceptionals on Helm, Pants, Gloves, Boots
if you don't want to wait for more ns layers. use 3/14 kinetic layers. 2 3/14 kinetic layers and 1 janta hide will be enough to hit 80% kinetic. at at least70% base to 74% base. (depending on your janta hide). use interwoven to add a ns layer, switch from janta to shards and use a yellow cube. for 80/80 with lower ham.
ok so for these first 3 pieces this is what i would put into em?(Helm Chest and pants)
Helm: (with interwoven)
1 exceptional NS Shard
1 9% NS Layer
1 5% Yellow Cube
Chest: (with INterwoven)
1 Non-Exceptional NS shard
1 9% NS Layer
1 5% Yellow cube
Pants: (with interwoven)
1 Exceptional NS Shard
1 9% NS Layer
1 5% Yellow Cube
(not including all the required components)
so if i use these components in this combo i can hit what stats? and is there anything that i am missing from these or can i go ahead and make em?

you need more layers, each peice can take 3
oh really, what if i wanna add like a stun/acids layer so it has no vulns except LS. do those take up the other layers? or count as somehting else?
and i guess im sorta f^cked rioght now since nothing is dropping ANY loot besides creds.... it is confirmed here on lowca that Nyax, Aakuan, NS, Geo caves, DWB, Fort Tusken and a few others are not dropping since JTL was pushed live
maybe ill just try and buy some ![]()
