Still pretty pointless to use anything but advanced. In the rare instance someone still grinding asks me for armor, I send them to the bazaar to look for looted cores. Then I'll put it together for them for free or a minimal charge.

I've never used nor crafted a single core that wasn't advanced or looted. For any master armorsmith that have the named materials to make advanced (even if some of these resources are poor), the time spent is far, far from worth it. Armor with advanced cores have higher condition too.

I do for the budget range (not everyone is an elite master), but most of the one's I use are looted rather than crafted.

Never use Basic for these, just Standard...
