I have been helping a friend of mine get all the stuff he needs for the RIS quest and need some help with finding a peko peko albatross, we got everything but that thing's feather and searched all over naboo on my flash speeder and no luck.
Any help would be great and if i missed anything about this in the stickys I'm sorry.

I sometimes find them north of Theed, if no joy ask a Ranger for an hour of their time to help you search.
Then theres the option of checking vendor search and buying one, but some people like to charge silly prices for them.![]()

try starting at the retreat and head south. I found mine in about 3k from there 2 days ago in about 30 min of searching on lowaca.

The northern coastal plain running west out of Kaadara is also a popular place for them to spawn.

I found one about 1k out of Theed a few nights ago on my crafter. I still don't know what made me mouseover my radar on that specific purple dot (mostly everything conns purple to me) but I saw it and logged my combat guy on and nailed it.
So far I've killed 3 peko albatrosses, one on the northern coast 1.5 k west of kaadara, 1 just outside of theed, and one in the interior of Naboo. All three dropped feathers, so either I'm lucky or they have a really good drop rate to make up for the difficulty of finding them.

Back in the day, (probably until the CU) they DID spawn in 3 waves, but that seems not to be the case with the two I've found post-CU. Waited around both times, and no re-spawns. Both kills dropped feathers, so I'm guessing that they do drop 100%.
One night I decided it was do or die time, and I scoured the coastal plain (north of the east-west cliff line), zig-zagging from the cliffs to the sea, all the way from the west edge of the map to the east. Took me about an hour and a half, as I was being thorough.
No joy
Then, of course, I run into one randomly as I'm checking harvs, just south of the cliffs (up on the plateau) about 1k west of Theed.
Good luck hunting, it seems to be just the luck of the draw finding them.

They definitely do not "respawn" like they did pre-cu. The feather drop-rate is pretty good, but not 100%... I'd say it's at least 50% though.
As far as finding one goes.... the best way (as mentioned above) is to zig-zag across northern Naboo (north of the cliff).... I've seen them spawn just about all over up there - there's really no one "hot spot". If you're a level 80 toon, look for a lone yellow con yellow dot on your radar. They aren't overly hard to kill, but they do pack a mean dizzy/KD attack. ![]()

I'll have to just take your word on that, my BH/Carbineer/Pistoleer never lets the little buggers get close enough to find out.
Dizzy/KD = BAD
Root/Snare/KD/Critical = GOOD
