I'm relatively new to the AS profession however i am an master and +12point... i've spent a great deal of money and got some of the best resources available... including a number of 30k kits used...

For this example i'll use my current run of assault cores...I used all energy layers... and they turned all 90... which is fairly good... so i proceeded... and ended up with with Layerd Assault Cores around 5800 Energy...

Am i missing something?... how is it so many seem to be able to hit those 7k Assault Cores?...

I realize materlials are a possibility but i'm quite literally only using one substance in the process that isn't at least 850 or above...

Anyway... if anyone has any suggestions... i'd be intersted in hearing them... Thanks!

you have to keep in mind the energy cap on assault armor is pretty low. Meaning you just wind up with glorified battle armor ifyou energy layer it. (It is after all +1000 kin, -1000 energy. With the 'base' cap of 6k. Tha means cap of 5k unlayered energy. And aprox 6200 for energy)

the 7k you were thinking of was likely 7k kinetic on a capped unlayered asasult core.

Um I make armor with kyso on intrepid. I have not made any layered cores but my master kyso has, We had a special order of Energy layered Assault armor (BH armor) and the final product came out to be like 6011 Energy. In general I think the biggest boost layers can maketo any one stat is about 1100 using resources on intrepid.

Really?

So the cores at 5800-5900 are fairly good cores?...

When i first started with AS i could have sworn i got some Assault cores (purchased from another AS) at 7k...

Just out of curiosity... do you happen to have off-hand the numbers on battle and recon as well?... as far as the best energy stats?...

hmm well I know that yaman has made some 8100 energy so that would be 7700 energy cores. The energy recon cores we've made have been like 8013. Battle I think about the same, basicly we start with capped unlayeered cores and then add about 1k energy to them with the layers so 6k assualt 7k battle 8k recon the stat vary a bit from that but not by much.

yeah and I would say 5800-5900 is fairly good, I'm assuming you maxing out resisitences when you experimentif thats the case your prolly just need a different resource.
