Ok, I am banging my head on wookie armor. Here is a list of my resources and parts to make this.

Wookie armor segs

Base 2%

Int 1027

Ham8/10/8

Armor Padding

Base4%

Int 153

Ham 7/8/7

Resources used

Wood 1000 oq / 607 sr

Hides

822 oq / 955 sr (Wooly)

780 oq / 1000 sr (scaley)

Fiberlast 952 oq / 999 sr

Ok, the best i got was 41% kin 18 base, thats gotta be sad. Can anyone tell me how to get up on KIN for wookie armor, what am i doing wrong? on my segs i got 2 amazing's and i thought that my segs are good, i know the padding could be better i guess, im not the tailor and thats what he got using my resources you see here. Any help would be great.

Kashyyykian does not work like composite. Raising base does not raise the special resist. So, experiment fully on the special resist on both the segment and armor. (Padding can only raise base.)

Yeah, that about the best you can make non-advanced wookie armour.

Try using the advanced segments, and putting all you points in to the bottom row, the one that boosts the kinetic protection.

Failing that....use enhancers like krayt hide or voritor hide.

Looks like i missed the Kin on the segs.

Wookie armor segs

Base 2%

Int 1027

Ham8/10/8

Kin 7%

I would like to use advance segs but the best i can fines on resources are in the mid 600 Range

Even w/ subpar resources, chances are that the advanced segment will give you better results than the basic segment.

Definitely go for the advanced segs. I use fairly poor Yav hide (around 1000 OQ+SR) and reasonable Endor wood (around 1300 OQ+SR) and end up with 19% kinetic segments.

Given that your other resources are very good, you should be able to get over 50% easily with advanced segments.
