Question...

What is the best way to go on the tree. I have novice, and armor II. Should I go up to III so I can do ubese or get Techniques skills?

Somewhat depends on what your trying to grind to reach master. I did mabari chestplates from novice to master, dong that route it makes no difference what lines you get first. Also depends on what you plan to do between now and master. If you plan on making armor for people, then get the experimentation line first, then one of the other lines depending on what you want to make.

Otherwise there really isn't 1 line that is neccessarily better to take than another, unless your grinding ubese shirts, then of course you need to get the skills for that. But otherwise it's up to you.

Actually, techniques should be first anyways. Less crit fails, as your assembly skill goes up, meaning fewer combines to hit master.
