I have heard that only deflector shields and RIS have LS resists....
can anyone validate invalidate this?
Also, mkI-II-III or only mrk III
And finally, if the deflector works for LS, then that makes the armor AR1 right? and given that sabers are non-piercing AP0, then dmg would automatically be cut in half and then reduced again by the resist on the generator.

Padded armor belts also have LS resists in the base effectiveness.

The PSGs I've had made have Lightsaber in their base resists. Tantel does as well. Nothing else I've heard of yet does.
Just a tip to y'all. Lightsabers currently don't apply their heavy armor piercing bonuses to ppl with vulnerable armor. Strangely enough, if you were to have some resists to lightsaber you would actually take MORE damage because the armor piercing bonuses would immediately go into effect. Right now having no resists is like having heavy armor with 0% resists so that the lightsabers base damage is what you suffer.
I'm guessing you'd need something like 50-60% LSresists in light armor (is that about right) to be on par with this current bug.
Otherwise, I'm hoping you guys get cortosis ore based segments or something to add to the story continuity. Negative resists to everything, but big bonuses to lightsaber resists. I think that'd be cool.
btw, any Naritus smiths making RIS armor regularly yet? RIS made me quit last year after 6 months of Master AS. I'd still like to get a few pieces though.

20% resistance for AP2 vs. AP1 to do the same damage as it would to a vulnerability.

Just to amend my first message. I was smoking something. Lightsabers are medium armor piercing so 20-25% resists are needed as has been pointed out. Otherwise you're making my saber damage higher. For the time being though, my PvE targets are no armor LS vulnerable and only receiving base damage from my saber. Really stinks. It'd be nice to see if in PvP someone with a weak PSG receives more average damage than an unarmored person. mitigations and things the same.
