Thread: Do lightsaber resist PSGs work?

I've seen some PSGs with lightsaber resistance but sometimes after slicing and equiping the lightsaber reistance goes away. My question is: "Is there a way to guarntee a PSG to give lightsaber resistance?" I would love to get a lightsaber reisst psg sliced up to 60% and stick an anti-decay on it.

when it has the resistance on it, it works
the LS resist will shift out

I found this is a seperate post, If they are supposed to have LS resists why cant i craft them with LS resists ??? and why were my stock of 90 nerfed?

Actually, they are. It was part of Jedi Archives 3 and Im working with the team to get this looked at.

It's bugged.
It should have LS resists since it's an energy shield.

bought a PSG with 40% LS resist , quite expensive today i logged in and the LS resis had vanished , any clues?

The LS resist appears when the PSG is pulled from the crate. It stays until you log. It doesn't matter if it's in your inventory or not, equipped or not. It will lose the resist on relog.
SO, get a crate, then pull them, stick in anti-decay kit, and you're good to go until you log. Wash, rinse, repeat the next time you log in.
I sell 47% base (includes LS) crates on Corbantis. Many don't know the all this. Oh, if you see an individual on a vendorwith LS resist. It will vanish when pulled from the vendor.

Don't slice them either. When you slice the PSG , the LS resist disappears. I'm a Master Smuggler , and no one believes me when I tell them - then I slice it , give it back , and they get mad...lol.

man a psg with 60% ls and stun resis with a anti decay kit.... that would be sick.....

I'm a Master Smuggler and I always slice mine, never had it vanish yet till you log.
Oh, btw, I've heard that keeping them in a storage droid prevents the resist from going poof.

Is it the act of trading it that causes the LS resist to disappear? That would explain why you can slice your own, but other people are saying they disappear when they get someone to slice one.

Here is my question. I am deperately searching on my server to buy PSGs with the LS resist. But what gives the PSG the LS resist once they are crafted? Is it any PSG, or just a certain style? I know the resist disappears once you log, shuttle, or cross a server boundary, and I know seeing a LS resist on a vendor does not mean that the resist will be there when the PSG is bought, but how, or which ones, have the resist on the first place? Never found one of these, desperately trying.
