Ok, i finally made the boots for the hermit and i am ready to make my ris......My question is do most make the ris layers or do they use their own layers in the ris segments? Any suggestions would be appreciated...Thanks

Very few use the RIS layers, if you use kinetic layers you can still add the base while making it easier to get 80% kinetic... downside is a bit more ham. The interwoven segment is very popular, more layers plus getting to put a cube in
I'd also venture a guess that NS layers are used 90% of the time in good RIS.

with ris layers
i use 3 3% -8/-8/-8 ham ris layer with shards and 4% cubes. 80% kinetic, 58% base total ham was 201/156/121. super low ham, lower base that is sliceable to 78% with a perfect effect slice. harder to make. you will need a bunch of peko layers. 6 sets of 6s will get you 8 segments while only usings 2 uses with the interwoven schematic. 11 set peko are perfect.
with kinetic layers
1 use 2 3/14 kinetic layers, 1 7% ns layer, janta and cubes. 80% kinetic, 80% base. total ham was 802/724/633. Ham is very high. easy to slice to 90% base. i used this formula for my anti decay suit. had to make 3 extra pieces to get everything sliced to 90%. very easy to make, but high ham
with cubes being so easy to get now. ris layers with janta hide and yellow cubes will get the base%into the mid 60s%. slice into the 80s with low ham.
