Thread: Mabari Prices

Greetings!

I have gotten bored with Ubese armor, and don't like goofing with composite, so I started messing with Mabari. I found some good resources, and I'm making Mabari with either a base of 26%, or a heat protection of around 53%, depending on which category I experiment in. I have never sold mabari other than the junk I first made as a Novice on the bazaar. I was wondering if there were any othersmiths who make mabari for fun andhow muchthey sell it for. I figured it up and found out that if I charge a flat rate of 10cpu, the armor comes out to be under 10k, which is easily affordable to the audience I am making it for. I would like to provide more armor than I do, but still want to break even if I can...Just thought I would ask for some feedback.

My green mambari helmet looks really nice with my camo when I'm playing my ranger character, he looks pretty good all decked out in camoflauge, hard to see from far away.

Other then that, I whip together mambari for free for any new player that would like some, figure it doesn't take very much for me to do it, don't even need to run anything through a factory, so might as well be nice and make some for the poor starting guy.

I charge 8K for a suit of adv mabari, but I give away more suits of it than I sell. It is a great "welcome to the game" sort of suit.

I charged 20 cpu when I massed produced it. If you stock it, and advertise, it will fly off the shelves. People reallllly like disposable low low ham armor. Even in you bazaar it, you will sell out daily, just put the major boosted stat in the title AND THE COLORS. The biggest advantage a master has isn't the experimentation, but the color chart! Black/ plus color seems to be most popular. However, there are alot of people who just want to look different from everyone else. (Yes, Screaming Yellow, and Godawful Orange sells!)

The suits that sold well, were they experimented for heat or for base? Or a mix of both. Thanks!

Either/ or rather than balanced. I then put either kinetic or heat in the title with %, and color combo.

I sell 25% base Adv. for 15k per suit. I currently only have one guild that's using it. I spend about 30min getting a color combo they liked and made schematics.

I've quit putting it on the Bazaar, because I want to give the novices something to sell.

Don't really see much point into making higher heat or blast resists. If you PvP in this, you most likely won't last long. Unless you're a support person staying out of the line of fire.

Bless you all! Mabari is a real godsend to beginning players. I started a few alts to make it so I dont go insane with my extremely useless MDE. Finding armour at halfway decent prices is almost impossible.

Id say max it out vs. kinetic. Most beginner players stay away from any missions that the nme shoots back, (or at least I do). Maxing it vs kinetic is what I look for browsing the bazaar.

Put a few amour and weapon repair tools on the bazaar as well. I always gamble when the armour gets low. If I have to replace enh its not that bad, but if I can get a few more uses out of it then yayyyy!

When I used to be a novice armoursmith, I couldn't even give Mabari away for free because no-one wanted it. I hope the Dev team bring in some form of bonus for the lower armors like bone and mabari......

I gave out over 100 suits of Mabari while climbing the tree to Master...

I sold Mabari at 2k per piece (10k a suit) and Adv Mabari at 4k per piece (20k per suit) at Master. Not too bad considering that it covers everything but the Bicep area and they can get some Chitin, Padded, or Composite for that.

Never had to relist a maberi piece ever. Not at novice, not at master.

PS, the maberi jacket covers the biceps, same as ubese jacket does ( you could wear biceps over it, but you don't have to). Maberi gloves cover the gloves and bracer areas as well.
