Thread: Anyone ever have a CSR resolve this problem?
I started on EQ earlier this year before I started playing SWG exclusively, and it strikes me that the CSR there was so responsive. I got stuck in the game in the water and ended up drowning which equals lost XP...he rezzed me and made me whole again within about 15 minutes of my ticket being sent in.
It amazes me how different SWG is.![]()

Not quite, let me explain something about corporate speech:
No corporation is allowed to admit mistakes that they are responsible for (think of the president, blame the local government and act like you did your job) So when you have clucked something up and someone notices it you use the phrase that some suit has decided best reflects your non-denial of denial. In this case SOE uses the phrase "This is working as intended."
The rough translation is: Yeah we screwed up, what are you going to do about it?
The clinical translation from corporate to english: Yes we screwed it up, but by telling you we meant to do it we can act like we have a plan you do not know about so that we can keep from letting you know we don't.
Normally I would agree But i must say that i had a vendor eat up a heap of premium resource and cores and the Csr JenniferS came to the rescue and with a whole lot of correspondance we ended up coming to a happy and quite welcome conclusion, so she was extreemly helpful yeah.

That is an issue that is easily solved because it is easily investigated. They can see on the logs that you put those resources in and that you did not take them out. SO it is quickly dealt with by CSR's.
But try it after a server crash and say that. the logs are wiped when the server crashes. And then they will just say "Sorry, you are out of luck"
The discussion here is about losses after a server crash/restart not part of the factory bug that has been a pretty common affair since 3 publishes ago or so.
BTW, I too have had plenty of good things come from a ticket.
