recently i took up AS again, and tried making some segments and cores to see how they turned out, the resources i had from before were not the best, so i went about buying some new resources for the segments, the stuff i got wasnt "servers best", but it had oq and sr averaging to over 700, so my question is, will this be sufficient to cap the cores usingsegments (recon)with 826 protection(i still need some better resources for the actual cores, which ended up as 6178 energy 4178 kin when i made recon cores, some resources here averaged to 600 oq and sr) sorry if that was confusing, and thanks

That has to be the longest run-on sentence of the day
!
But no, you aren't going to be able to cap your cores with low 800 segments. You'll pretty much need to exceed 900 on your segments and have some really great core resources to cap.

With those stats...ya may want to start out with looted cores until you get better resources.

Getting the resources on chim for capping is a right pain.
My recon cores come out 2 points short of cap and the cost of resources tohit cap are stupidly high.
That and all of the other smiths that have hit cap are hanging onto them for later use.
