Thread: Do AS use Vertex Crystallin Gemstone?

Title pretty much says the most important part of the question. I recently dug up a bunch of this stuff and dont know what to do with it so are you guys the ones that use it and if so what qualities are important....basically should I give this to guildies, sell it off, or make glasses with it lol?
Trigaubogium, Vertex Crystalline Gemstone
Entangle Resist - 986
Cold Resist - 903
Decay Resist - 920

P.S. I realize there will be differences between servers, I am just trying to figure out generally if this stuff is worthless or not

Those stats suck for armor.
Try selling it to a WS or Archi... Maybe even SW (I have no idea what SW's use though)

Vertex has stat gates that are all pretty high, so no big whup about most of them as vertex goes. It's the OQ that's in the toilet.
Make glasses with it or trade it to a tailor in exchange for trim, if they'll take it.

and we dont need vertex as such, we use Crystalline for recon armor tho, vertex is a subclass of crystalline.

Right, but vertex tends to be one of the higher crystallines. I am pretty the last few Ahazi best crystalline gems were vertex (dating all the wayback to when we needed vertex for stun layers). Hrm, don't take this as me disagreeing with you or anything, just wanted to add that vertex is a good one to watch since it tends to be the highest.

Correct, vertex is the highest "grade" crystalline gemstone, meaning that is has the highest caps (in some cases meaning no caps), of that base class. It's the same for steel(duralloy), aluminum (phrik), copper (polysteel ?), intrusive ore(katrium), extrusiveore(vintrium)and so on.
As a matter of fact, the grades are listedin order whennavigating the resource tree in a 30k crate.
