I'd like to find out what item/component is needed to give the spikes on Marauder leggings. Thanks

They are just always there. Nothing special is needed. Did you see some without?

The smith I talked to said he didn't know how to get the spikes. Hmmmm. So unspiked versions are the 'special' ones? Or is it a different schematic or something?

I honestly have no idea what you are talking about, to be honest. The ones I craft have spikes. I haven't ever seen any that don't, but I've never paid THAT much attention to it. /shrug

Almost every pair I look at on the vendor have no spikes.

Hmm...then I really don't have an answer for you. I'll have to look. I have noticed that they aren't always noticable and it might just be the vendor view screen, but I'll look at mine when I get home....got me sorta curious.

The last pair I had crafted for me didn't have spikes, weird. I noticed there were two Marauder Leggings categories on the vendor, though I've found both types in the same category, one category is usually empty

Now that you said something... I don't recall there being spikes on the knees anymore. Not for a while now. Almost forgot they used to.

yeah..i noticed this too..i think when the CU launched that is when they had them..also if you see a left shoulder pad on the marauder you can see eyeballs and an armband...those too are gone. they looked sweet..but i think they are gone for now or forever

Well Lizzy must be mistaken about the spikes, because no-one else can craft them. Sounds like they were nerfed (for no obvious reason).

Yeah, that makes no sense to do that. The pair I wear on my combat toon WAS made a few publishes ago and has all that stuff on it. Guess they did take it out. If they did...what a waste of the Dev's time!
