Thread: how do resource stats work ?

looking to gather in the best resources I can find/afford.
I know that OQ & SR are important to us, but how does it work.
as an example i've found Lokian leathery hide with OQ 507 SR 585, i guess that is mid range stuff.
How about fiberplast at OQ 843 but SR of only 301. Does this average out at 572, or do other factors come into play, if so what ones.
