Thread: Armor Experimentation. Now missing a step entirely?

It seems to me. That in crafting a recent patch of armor after having taken a short hiatus. That now that we have the cut down crafting stages. We also have cut down on experimenation and importantly (I belive at least) a good ammount of the max condition we can add to armor seems to have been cut out too. Now I just used up the last few cores I had kicking around of a run of assault cores. Just whipping up a fwe random pieces of composite armor to use them up. And I'm using the same resoruces I've been using for comp for that entire run's final combine for a good number of composite suits.
So anyway I assemble the item. Hurrah doodlie do. you know the drill. get a 14 percent base incrase from the assembly. Click next. And it skips right oveer where I'd normally experiment on condition. And right to naming the piece of armor and picking it's colours.
Now I dont recall this being brougt up as an issue earlier. But it's cutting out a good 10K-20K+ from the final condition of the armor I'm making as a result. Where I'd normally get 40k or so max condition on a piece of composite armor. I now only get about 21k or so. Which is what I'd get before experimentation before they implemented this shorter method of crafting. Now considering armor doesnt last bloody long to begin with. This seems to me to be a rather major issue.

Just trying to see if anyone else ran into this or if it's just some bug i'm running into. Another AS I just talked to in game said he had no rpoblems with it. So assumably it's just me. Figgures 
And yes I'm using a private crafting station in my own home. As I have been since I became an AS. Haevnt changed anything at all in the way I do. But suddenly it hasnt been giving me the experimentation option.

isnt it cause it doesnt show you a dialog of your exp, but just shows it in system message? i know i skipped a lot of exp when i crafted cause they changed that stuff which i never saw ANYONE ask to get changed.

i'd say try another crafting station.
sounds like what would happen if you were standing to far away from the station. i'd blame the station.

Sounds exactly as if you are not near a crafting station. I haven't experienced this problem so my guess would be either you are not close enough to your station (tried using another or a droid) or your station is bugged somehow.
