Thread: Petition to Devs, change Factional Armor Schematics to allow factory runs of 9 pieces per schematic

Making factional armor by hand is simply no fun. Many Armorsmiths want to stock a lot factional armor due to the demand for it, but making each piece by hand, 90 pieces for full 10 suits is unnecessary. I can sell 10 suits a day, but making each piece one and a time is really depressing.
Solution? Simply introduce the normal "make factory schematic" option but instead of giving us the 1-1000 slider, hard code it to a schematic for ONLY (9) runs.
This will alleviate a huge burden on Armormsiths in producing Factional Armor by hand. We'll also save time if we choose to give each piece of armor with unique labels such as "4X Primus LayerAssault Trooper Armor Chestplate 7526K 5527E 5474SP68.9k Condition".
Please, please please consider introducing this option for us. Not a rant, but it is bad enough that you introduced a 4th step inmaking armor (appearances+cores), changed nearly all of our resources and essentially made being a 12 point Armorsmith a novelty.
This would be one nice thing you could do for the profession with little coding changes involved.

hehe i know crafting faction armor can be depressing but i'd take that over crafting all theamount of nonfaction armors I do each day just to keep my vendors stocked with anything other than standard (YACK) colour armor's. At least i'm not having to relist everything now, but keeping up with demand isn't easy.

Crating in general is dull, but I completely disagree... Factional armor should remain the way they are presently created, ONLY be hand made!

agree and agree. I dont mind making factional by hand but, then again I spend too much time in the shop just piddling anyways

Come on, it's not too hard I was making tons of hand made padded pre - CU. Just use copy/paste to name it.

While we're at it, I wouldn't mind being able to just purchace "Set of Stormtrooper Armor Schematics" or "Set of Scout Trooper Armor Schematics", rather than having to buy each piece individually... but whatever.
