Hi... I'm currently thinking of buying a personal shield generator, and was just wondering how much dmg they stop... i heard someone say that they stopped ALL damage but are dead fragile... will they stop working after only a couple of shots or do they work for longer... any help in this matter is greatly appreciated... thx v much guys Keep making that great armor

well, currently there seems to be some issues with PSG's. They seem to fluctuate resistances pretty randomly when players log/zone/clone etc.

I'm not saying you shouldn't buy one. I just want you to be aware of some of the issues you might see with PSGs before you buy one.

Jeff, nothing in the game blocks ALL damage.

all armor, including PSG, reduce the % of damage you take.

Some armor block all TYPES of damage, such as Kinetic, Acid, Energy, Heat, etc...

And PSGs take more then a couple hits... I've been wearing a PSG3 for 2 weeks now.. I do not hunt a whole lot, but it still has a lot of quality left.

it should be just above the highest npc mission, but be warned the lowest bounty doesn't mean the easiest.
