How gooda hide do you put in your kashyyykian padding? I saw it requires 20k or so of hide, and that'd be quite a big dent if I used the good stuff. How good is enough to get good padding?

The padding segments require 15 hide, 10 wooly hide, 5 fiberplast each.
It will only raise baseresists, so if you are going to make high kinetic armor, then the quality of this padding doesn't matter at all. (base does not add to kinetic)
Think the padding changed to 4% base or so at around 76% experimented, so if you look for resources which averaged and balanced to the schematic leaves you with a quality of 760 or higher, then you got some decent padding. Just remember that there are hidden decimals in there, so even better resources will give even better results. Just ask yourself one thing: is it best to use 5cpu hide and get 1-2% lower base or do you prefer 50cpu+ hides with the added few %?

Thanks for your prompt response. Since the kinetic resist seems to be what people are most interested in (you can never get the base very high anyway) I'll go with lower quality hides for the padding. Now I just have to build another stack of 15kbristley and 10k wooly so I can make a full factory run. Ick.
