If that's as if you can because i havn't tried it yet but the max on stun resist on composit is 45% but you are going to need 1000oq 1000sr on all the resource on stun layer which is almost unlikely!

Using the Interwoven Schematic for the segment, you can put 3 layers in. Thus, you can get the same stun resists in RIS as you can in 3 layer composite. (though your base resists will suffer since so far I have only been able to get 3% base on maxed stun layers)

First complete RIS set made for myself on Aug 1, 2004 with stats of approx 75% Kinetic/4% Stun/5% Acid/65% Base/vuln to Lightsaber. (unsliced)

Diwo (Master Armorsmith/Master Smuggler) - Semi-retired but still making RIS (email me for a guide on what you need for RIS)

Other way around, is it possible to put a RIS segment in comp? Would there be any concievable reson to do so?

Comp segments go in comp, RIS segments go in RIS. Tis how it works.

RIS stun helm

Kinetic could have been higher, but he wanted to use a shard and lower encumberance instead of using a janta hide.

yes, you can use RIS segments in Composite... But they only add 4% to base with extremely low (0/0/0 if you experiment right) HAM. They add nothing to any specific resist type.

I think you're talking about RIS layers, not RIS segments. RIS segments can't be used in Composite, but yes RIS layers can be.

Why would you use a RIS layer with those stats even ? Would be cheaper to just get NS Layers and they have better stats. Its not worth spending 500k on 1 feather when you could get like 50 NSLayers for that much.

Exactly. Probably why you won't see it...except for some sort of curiosity piece.

Though there's a thread here with a really cool bracer (80% across the board 0/0/0 HAM). Imagine a whole set made with the same recipe.
