Hindrances are directly proportional to resists. My understanding is that 6000 general protection will give 40% hindrances across the board for battle armor. For assault armor, movement hindrance is 150% of accuracy hindrance, and rate of fire hindrance is 50% of accuracy hindrance. The situation is reversed for reconnaissance armor.

Moge, hinderance is not something we can control persei. It is proportionate to the experimentation we do on resist. So the higher the resist, the higher the hinderance. Based upon this, it is theoretically possible to get a low hinderance on the armor, but in turn you are going to be looking at low resist on the defenses. Example, I pulled a chest peice from a crate to see if the stats remained as the crate said, and well they didnt, but thats another story. Anyway, the stats were 2727 accross the board, but the hinderance on the comp armor was only 19.9. Now the quad layered armor im making now has a hinderance of 52.9% but also has stats that are 6996 kin 5400 energy(in this area), and 5800 to the elemental resists. So theoretically yes we can control it, but only to the point that the resists wouldnt be something our customers would want so kind of a waste.

I have people ask me what the Hinderance of my armor is all the time. Is this something we control or is it set numbers?
My Adv Recon stuff is -19.7/-39.3/-59.0
Is this average? How can I lower it if needed?
