Thread: So is RIS nothing but a collectors piece?
But to be honest, if a suit of quad layered armor is already over a mill, what's another mill to make sure it lasts three times as long?
people that spend millions on RIS, do it because they have millions to spend
if you are thrifty and don't have a large stash, then don't, or just get the helmet or pants, etc

The nice thing about RIS now is at can be made just as good as all the other armors and has the nice condition.
Definately a big boost over the old system with the two vulns it had, making it far inferior to composite,
And the very fact the components like the GDK scale are hard to get makes it less common. People will pay more to be more individual.
The GDK is what really drives the cost to be honest.
Anyone know how hard they are to kill now ? People with some templates used to solo them I think, am sure this will not be the case now and the GDK scale will become more rare.
