Picked up five ofthese from someone in the trade forums after another armorsmith told the owner they weren't of much use. These have RIS written all over them.

Cripes, those are some nice shards! Personally, I'd save them until after the combat rebalance in order to see just what the changes in encumbrance are going to be. As for using them in RIS, that might be a good idea, but I would try to make sure you use them on a piece that will be able to get the full effect, i.e., make sure you use them on something that would normally have at least 88/100/62 HAM without the shards.

I wonder what they dropped off. The elders I've been killing have only been giving me stupid saber crystals .
