It depends on your resources, but. Max the experimentation for base in the layers, then put the rest in kinetic (normally you would put it in HAM, but i'm guessing you dont have the resources that are good enough for this). You should get 4/6 kinetic layers. Put 3 into a segment and max out the base resists on this, put remainder points into HAM reduction. (Aim for 30 base on the segment, and youll hit 60 base final combine). After this make the gloves. Experiment on the middle row first, and max this out (cant remember the name of it) then experiment the top row. Experimentation on composite is **edit**ed, so it doesnt experiment what it should, but this is the way to do it. Depending on resources, you should hit 80% kinetic (which is what really sells armour).

sorry to hijack the thread a little, but like in the answer above, I keep seeing things like 4/6 kinetic... what in the world are these numbers ?

sorry, only novice here

I made my first comp armor gloves today since I just hit master. I made 3 kinetic layers of 12% each, made my adv. seg with 36% kinetic. Put it in the glove and I get a 56% glove for kinetic and 21% base?

OK, so how do you get close to the 80% kinetic mark, I know resources have a lot to do with it but it does not seem my experimenting has any effect on either electric or kinetic resist, it seems to go up about 3-5% with 10 pts of experimentation.

What did I do wrong or am I missing something?

A 4/6 kinetic layer is a layer with 4% base and 6% kinetic resist.
