Thread: Best type of armor for pvp suggestions

Hey armorsmiths,
I"m looking to do some pvp and I need the best type of armor I can get, regardless of price. I told this to my armorsmith and he wants to know more specifics, as in what type of stats to boost. What do you all suggest is the best combination? Thanks for your help!

wrong youll actually take more dmg than you would without the stun if its that low, and your armor will become trash rather quickly. The best pvp armor bar none, with current combat setup.
40% stun
77- 80% elec
85+% base
That will cost you a fortune, and possibly isnt even for sale on some servers. But that is bar none the best armor for the big bucks now.

Also consider getting Imp psg's. These can have 45% resistance to stun in addition to the stun resistance on you comp. They have 0 ham and usually have a 3000-3500 condition.
It's been stated that only psg's will have LS damage. I made so many Imp psg's prior to this last patch I haven't used them all yet, and they show LS damage as a vulnerability. I'm not sure if they're bugged (again), but that's for a new thread

Wrong, the highest AP stun weapon is the Jawa Ion rifle which is AP1, this is cancelled by crafted armor's AR1, after this any amount of resistance helps. I would still go for as high a stun protection as you can get of course, (3 stun layers, all experimented on for stun protection).

I would suggest 2 electricity layers and one stun layer all experimented for base. Then you have to pray for all effect slices to get your suit up near 90% base. Then you also have the stun layers to help protect against fencers. Unfortunately it won't help against Geno blasters but at least it gives you some protection.

Also, if you're just doing specifics, use some Janta Hides to increase the base.
