first of all i wanna thank the VA creator for this great job!
i tested it out and filled in the ressources i have and experimentation i do, but the results i get aren't the the same as i get ingame. is it 100% correct for you guys out there? or do you just use it to have a rough imagination of what newly spawned materials will bring?
thx and GzG

I'm not the author but I am working on a similar tool.
The preexperimentation minumums and maximums appear to be nearly right on with "better" quality materials.
If you use junky materials the percentages don't fit the linear equation the author uses (and they also don't fit the one's listed in the Armorsmith FAQ).
Due to the way composite armor experimentation "works" compared to how it should work post experimentation on teh final combine is off. This has been a similar problem for me and I'm assuming that we would both need a considerable amount of additional data on composite crafting than we have now.

i think the problem could be the calculation of amazing successes. i always go for an amazing success on the first 6 points. allthough you can enter that, it doesn't seem to reflect the reality.

I believe that Emily is still working on it and is open to suggestions and feedback on your results. Perhaps if you post some of your results in the VA thread she can analyze the problem and try to implement a solution. She did mention that it is a work in progress and will update it as time goes on when more testing has been done.
Thanks Emily for a great tool!
Here it is for those who can not find it:
