Thread: Why did they even bother with RIS?

Title says it all...I'm a Combet Oriented player so I'm tasked with helping AS on my server get the required ingredients.
Why do I bother? GDK never drop anything, Peko Peko things seem to KD/Dizzy me magically, fly off and despawn...if you can find them.
And then I won't even get a suit. 
Anyone know what they were thinking with this armor? Mandalorian Armor will probably be more common than this (you know how camped bunker will be)

My guess would be a combination ofmisdirection and a poor first attempt at creating quests for crafters. If you spend weeks/months hunting the creatures that drop the loot for the armor that you'd never dare use in PvP, you're probably not noticing how badly they're screwing up the game.

I am a RIS collector and I do it for its fashion 
Plus you get to loot leagenary items off dune kimos 
I own 5 Pieces of RIS myself, I been tring to get all my piece to 80% base unslice and the set' ham below 400/400/200 which I m very very close in doing so!

My Probs not with Bird Feathers or the Woolymander Hide mines is with this Oriduim Intrusive Ore that never spawns ive checked for last 3 months and nothing

they should have made some tantel pants first instead of making a suit of armor that is harder to get then being a jedi.

Oridium ore? I thought it only needs Chanlon Intrusive Ore which I pumpedover 200k just in case I m going for RIS which i m!

Oridium intrusive ore is required in the R.I.S. layer if I'm not mistaken. Since not alot of people like to use this layer more than once, you will only need around 100 units of it to finish the quest for the greedy bothan.

ahhh yea Oridium intrusive ore is used with the peko feather for RIS layer but people now use the Interwoven...its way better!

Don't even get me started on that ore...someone was selling a 100 units of it on Eclipse for 1000 CPU. :/
And NERV guild? Neon Genesis fans I assume?

Yeah I paid 1000 cpu for Oridium to finish the quest on Bloodfin back in December.

I think I have like 49k of that Oridium Intrusive really nice stuff too.

Why bother with new armors when current armors are insane?
I dunno how you AS can keep up with us combat types...demanding for better % stuff every week.
