Thread: Just a quick question about Enhancements

Okay, I like making Mabari. I like seeing how nice I can make it. With just Adv segments I can make 26% Kinetic armor with low HAM (not the lowest I've made, but pretty low nonetheless). I wanted to know what enhancements add to the Base % and what's the average for each (by average I mean what drops the most).

I know that there's Nightsister Shards and Janta Hides. Are Nightsister usually 3-5% Base and -10/-10/-10 and Janta usually 3% Base?

What other enhancements are there out there that add to Base and don't move Kinetic to Special Resists?

Also, since a 3% Janta Hide would add 3% to the segment's base (making my 7% Base into a theoretical 10%), what would that translate to in the final product? 7% Base seg experimented to a 90% Experimental value makes a 26% Kinetic final product and I'm not sure how a 10% Seg would translate...

Thanks in advance for any answers!

All the stats on the enhancers translate directly into the final product. So if a piece of voritor scales have 5/5/5 encumbrance and 4% energy, 5% kinetic, then you will get 5 more encumbrance to all with energy and kinetic moved into special with the extra % boost noted on the enhancer. Plugging up the energyvuln on mabari in the same swoop. So if you have a 7% segment and experiment that to 26% normally, then add a 3% Jantahide you will start 3% higher and experiment to the same 90% experimented as before, just that as you reach this you will have 29%.

Nightsistershards only remove enecumbrance, not add base. The basic version is -10 to all.

Nightsister layers however remove some encumbrance (atleast -5 to action) and add base (3%+), theese can only be used in layerable armor though. (tantel, ubese, padded, composite, R.I.S.)

Janta hides will add as you allready noted, 3% base or more depending on the stats on the hide. 3% is most common.

Rancor hides also add 3% or more to base, with some encumbrance and other stats. The specific resists on the hide will be moved to special.

Voritor scales: encumbrance, kinetic and energy (moved to special)

Krayt scales: just about everything except stun moved to special with a boost.

That sums up the most useful mabarienhancers I think.
