Im a novice armoursmith gathering my resources for what can only be described as the mother of all grinds so i can get up to master. Ive got it all worked out down to the exact number of units i need to produce, ill be grinding use the mabari chest plate due to the fact i tried AUK and wasnt impressed with the speed it was taking me. so ill be making 1800 chest plates which will cover the whole tree. ive got a couple of factories that have churned out the armour segments and ive just got schematics for the synthetic cloth, so ill get the factories working on them later on.

However i need about 72k of hide for this grind and so far ive only got around 12k, i dont fancy buying it becasue its one of the most expensive resource ive come across so far in terms of CPU. Does anyone have any tips on gathering it fast?

I don't fancy buying it either... but I'd rather pay for it than go get it myself.

No, there's no easy way. (That I know of, at least.)

get a harvest droid, not sure if you'll need novice scout to use it though.

I had a bunch of friends gathering it for me. I got some as well.

Considering the quality doesn't matter, most wouldn't have a problem harvesting kills while leveling their characters.

I've always enjoyed hunting gurks on Lok. Mainly because they swarm you (I'm master sword..nice area attack for PvE.). I could pick up 10k there in about an hour.

If you know a master swordsman who has at least novice scout have them go to dathomir and do engranged rancors/rancors around the saracc

Friend is getting me hides there as i'm grinding another profession, so i'll have what I need for AS. He'sover 150k hides in like 2 days of casual play in about 3 buffsets.

Hehe I didn't have this problem. Just did ubese shirts instead.Slower, but the least expensive way.

All I needed was two kinds of cheap metals some of which I harvested myself, and some I bought for 2cpu.
