Thread: Where do you have your Shop?

So, i live in a player city, but there is not any good place to place my vendor on.. so i am wondering like placing it on Naboo,Kadaara or something. I dont want to place near Bestine,Coronet.. so much lag and so.
Anyone have a shop not near a big city or a player city... ?
Any tips please on shop locations.

Well I have an idea... Theed is my favourite place. Ask around on your server what some of the biggest shops are, Malls etc.. then find a place as close as you can to the mall or shop, preferably place it so people will pass/see it on the way to the big shop from the city. I think it is genuinely better to put a vendor in a house outside a busy city, and just to do all your crafting away from the cities in your PC. How inconvinient can a little bit of lag be?

Just place it where you feel comfortable going and where its easy for your clientel to get to. If its a journey for your clientel to travel, odds are they wont want to go too far, unless your stuff is truly top notch quality.
I have my shop in a player city, and mines out of the way and I still do good business. Im going to eventually get around to moving my shop towards our shuttleport for even better business. That way anyone who gets off the shuttle sees my shop.

Right now my shop is located outside coronet, along with about 50k other businesses... and because of that I think it is actually hurting my business, mainly because there is no way to even see my shop when you hit hte vendor button... so I am going to be moving later this summer...

I have my shop outside of Mos Entha. Its were I placed my house when I got it in August, and its where its gonna stay.

Exactly what i meant, i dont really wanna have a shop near Coronet,Bestine,Theed.. etc.

I think if you can get a good spot in a player city mall of some sort, you will make a killing. I have my shop in a fairly remote spot north of Theed. It is not in a mall, but I think people go out of their way to head to the shop. My prices are a bit lower because of the remote location and for the last couple of months sales are unbelievable. I have a steady stream of customers who find the place and rarely go anywhere else I think. I think you can be anywhere if there is a shuttle around (that 5mins helps a lot as opposed to 10!) Just be patient. I used to have to spam and advertise. Now I never dobecause I don't want to make armor ALL the time. Like the rest of Armorsmith- be patient!

I live in a pretty small player city, just enough for a shuttle port (56 last time I checked) so it's not very crouded. I'm comfortably the only armorsmith in town which makes things nice for me. My shop is located in a small round naboo house 50 m away from the shuttle port, right behind a row of merchant tents. I could move it closer for more view but I think it fits in cozily right where it is and it's easy for anyone to get to. (Especially since there is no wait time at the theed starport, and that's where I leave my spambot, people wanting to check out my armor can get to the vendor in less then a minute)

Yepp, of course it is better when the travel time is less
