Thread: Composite Chest Plate problem

Hi,
Wondered if someone could advise me on a problem I have.
It seems every chest Plate I make is 1% lower on stats to every other part of the suit.
for example:
My latest suits are coming out 80% Kinetic, 67% Base, all that is, except the Chest.
Even with 3 Amazing succeses on experimentation, it comes out 79% Kinetic, 66% Base, making the suit worthless 
Any help would be appreciated because this is happening on nearly every suit I make.

I see this as well... and not just on composite.
I would guess this has something to do with the way the resources are 'weighed' when figuring the final combine, and the difference in the amount of resources in a chest piece, compared to the smaller pieces. One of the low numbers tips the scales down by 1%, because it now 'weighs' with more importance than it does in the other pieces. I'll leave it to some number-cruncher to figure out if this is possiible, it's a guess on my part.
Either that, or they made an "oops" in the formulas for the chest, when they were fliping things around with crafting changes....

This is common. There are two solutions.
I used to use my best hide for the chest plates only and it was enough of a boost to get the stats in line. The other thing you can do is to make one layer with 1% higher Kinetic resistance. If you are using 3 2/6 layers make one of the layers a 2/7 layer and you'll get the missing 1% back. Regards.
