While hunting the other day I found this,
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/graham.phillips200/chitinchest.jpg
I wasnt aware that armour cropped up with the exceptional tag, so thought it may be interesting to my fellow armoursmiths. Clearly it has obvious weaknesses and wouldnt render the wearer omnipotent, but still... I think its kinda cool, especially the condition... I hate going through 3 chest pieces a week
Dont you think it would be cool if we could craft skill-mods like these into our stuff? I think it would open up a whole new facet to the trade. I understand this was possible in the past but was removed, why? Was this to give the tailors a job? Unfortunately there aint many out there that fight without armour on these days. So why give tailors the monoply on crafting the combat skill mods?

dayum, nice piece. May I ask what it was looted off of?
Anyhow, I'd assume skill mods could be crafted in the tailor stage with BE mods, after looking at all the schems on allakhazam. As for crafting them into armor...don't you think it's complicated enough?

The Devs have always said from gitgo, they didn't want us to make modded armor. For a week after a patch we could ( Nov time frame), thanks to a bug. That is the only time we could, after modded clothing finally got fixed. Bio clothing is to give people a reason NOT to wear armor, or to choose between a backpack and bandolier, or pick a shirt. They have a monopoly on that ( considered their forte) same as resists are ours. How would we feel if they could suddenly craft clothing with resists?

Enraged Bull Rancors drop armor quite often although I have yet to see one that good.
