Thread: An alternative to composite?
Eventually the kinetic resist addicts will realize padded is great for 90% kinetic with a good slice. The only problem is all the different hide types needed to make padded in large quantities, especially the wooly hide which goes for way too much already. Im glad to see that someone else still makes it though and that is a awesome piece of work if I may say so. All of my toons use padded whenever possible, lower ham and high kinetic seem to be all you need if you don't PvP anywyas. Just equip a good shield and you will be as well protected as any other player with their full suit of comp with their stats at 1/1.

I've used "decent" segments and get around 45-50% base. (Unlayered)
I would say these are "excellent" segments. Or maybe better...
Hauling around another set of armor? No thanks, already have my 80% kinetic comp, PvP comp, and ubese (note, amtrandoshan, so that's only 7 pieces each) and my inven is still too full for my liking.
I WILL be on the look out for good rancor segments when I get the chance though. Be a nice break from the Night**edit**s.
