Ok. Since layering composite with kenetic layers adds the extra kenetic protection and bumps it to special resistance. If I used Janta Hide for more base resistance, will this transfer to the kenetic in special protection in the final product? I would think it would but as I dont really have any hidesIcan use totest this with, I figured I'd ask

Thanks Vattio! What I'm wanting to do is be able to put more experimentation into the base and still get to 80% of what every I layer in (save stun or elec of course).

it doesn't help kinetic if you have the right resources..

35% base composite segs which is what most the good smiths are capable of means 71%base on the final assembly..which means 9kinetic resist devided between 3 layers needed to get 80%kinetic...if you can make 35%base segs your base Kinetic on layers will be 4% meaning the Janta hides don't help ur Kinetic really..just gives you a 73%base..

Hides are nice if your playing with stun though..can knock ur base up a bit..or if ur a struggling smith due to resources

4/4 layers (4base 4Kinetic) is the way to go..really its actually like 4.6base but meh...
