Hi All

The Rangers who frequent the Ranger profession forum are currently trying to put a wee list together of the different professions that we service and what minimum requirements those professions for resource stats?

So the question to you armorsmiths is: what do you need? what's the minimum that interests you?

For example, if we harvested some hide - what min OQand other relevant stats do you want? etc. At what point does it become unusable?

Look forward to hearing your thoughts.

i look for hides that are 900+ to OQ,SR. Leather and wool are the most that i use.

generally if OQ+SR > 1500 it is usable. Might not be the best, but better than nothing, and can make cheaper grind type armor

Mal and UT are nice to have as well but rather pointless without the other two. Also, for me, wooly always seems to be more difficult to track down. Additionally, I'd pay considerably more for the same hide if it's in a large enough stack.

Wooly hides are definately hard to track down, especially since most woolys tend to have a low OQ. On Bria right now, the best wooly hide I can gather up at this moment is around an overall quality of 840, and unit toughness in the mid 700's.

And Mr. Ranger, armorsmiths w/o alts or combat skills need Yavinian Wooly Hide for Adv. Padded Armor segments, so start hunting mamiens & woolamanders!

Ifind it hard to get large stacks of 25k+ of wooly with good OQ-SR.

Leather is much easier to get then wooly.

Hmmm if the world would stay up today hehehe

This is why whenever endor or rorigets good wooly hide I Stock up on as much of it as humanly possible, 'cause they have the largest creatures that drop wooly hide and make it real easy to get a nice big stack.
