I've made a full set of bone armor I want to sell... Energy resist is on avg. around 19% for the armor. Any idea what I should be able to sell this for? I compared quality and prices to the stuff on the bazaar and on vendors and found out that 14k would be a fair price... What do you think?

Two -three thousandtops....It's after all bone armor...Maybefour if you get luckey...Don't push it.

I was selling bone armor, when I was master Artisan, full suit, with travel-pack fo ease of picking up off vendor and not having to worry about missing parts, and was always at almost same stats for each piece, for:

Gloves: 250
Boots: 300
Bracer (L/R): 200
Bicep (L/R): 200
Leggings: 300
Chest Plate: 400

Grand total, 1650 and I made it to 1800 as it's full suit, same stats and you get a pack...I found it sold nicely for that price. Newbies could afford it, and that's why it sold like crazy, after all, bone is newbie armor. All you newbies, don't take offense.

First off, bone armor is not nessacarily newbie armor. It usually is, but with the right materials, you can push the energy resist to 26-28%, which, for someone who is only looking for an extremely light, fairly energy resistant piece of armor, ist that bad at all. in fact, its pretty good. you arent able as an armorsmith to get energy resists on any armor up to 26% until armorsmith tech level 3.

if you can only get the enerygy to 13 or 16%, then sell at the prices listed above. But, if youcan get the energy to 26-28%, you can sell the suit for 3 to 4k. you could even push it to 5k at that energy resist, but that MAY be pushing it.

I have had several advanced fighters looking for normal bone armor with the best energy resists i can give them, and they have offered between 4 and 6k for a suit of this.

Sold a suit of Advanced Bone (using the advanced segments) with a 37% resist to energy for 15k. Only reason it was so high was because it was a very uncommon custom order, and I had to hunt the Rori bone for it (ty, squalls).

Yeah I had a Guildmate request a set of very light energy resist armor. I fab'd up a set of 40% energy Adv Bone armor for him and he was estatic. I hadn't intended to charge him for it since i was making out of odds and ends anyways, but he insisted on tipping me 40k for it

Almost forgot though, that set used rancor comps as well so it had some extra resists. Heat was 15, though atm i cant remember if it had kinetic or not.

It would be nice if krayt and rancor components were useful in the higher armors but you can make some very nice bone and mabari armors with them and they are extremely light relative to there effectivness

Of course this mean till they fix the krayt and rancor comps (not to be mistaken for the krayt segments) then their not worth a whole lot of cash

Just want to add my two cents.

I've made 31% Energy Bone Armor, non-advanced. Mostly just gave it away to my friends hehe.

I'm not a master artisan anymore, but I have a weekend project which I am gathering the resources for. I'm going to make the advanced segs while some resident, non-AS guildies craft the actual suit. Makes a great set of armor for grinding Faction Points, especially coupled with the PSG MK 1's I've started making.

BTW: I'm in Kauri, and everyone is welcome to /tell me with any questions.

As a noob rodian, If I use the correct loot components, I can make maybe 30% Energy or 25% Energy with Several other resists. I use this forumla, but its soso.

R+250

The number of resists plus 250. But it is a little primative... your stuff could easily be worth 30k.

good way to make bone armor, is find some voritor scales to add into advanced bone, I've seen 50% energy and with 5% kinetic it works great for general PvE. Best part is no need for slicing or buffs.
