for each set of armor you have you special protection, and your effectivness...correct

now your effectivness is essentally your base which you can slice to make better...correct

If its and effectivness, which means to me its effective against you, wouldnt you want that lower?

i understand its basically better protection but the wording is very confusing to me.

when you fight an animal you want to use the weapons that are a certain % effectivness against them?

so why is a better effectivness better on comp armor ? please someone explain this to me, i have asked a ton

of people with no one being able to explain this to me yet ?

also what is the light, medium, heavy armor piercing %'s

like composite is light armor, if i get attacked with a weapon that is medium armor piercing what is the percentage increase in attack ?

i know there's gotta be a chart somewhere.

Thanks for all you help,

The complete quide to armor and armorcrafting stickied at the top has a very good description of armor, armor ratings, and other things armor related.

On your effectiveness question, I think you are a little confused. There are two catagories of protection on armor. Special protection and general protection. The only difference between the two is special protection cannot be sliced. In any armor, the higher the resists the better. Bigger numbers are always better, they provide more protection. Conversly, If you are fighting something you want to use a weapon that does the damage type the enemy has the lowest resist to.
